Palazzo Versace Dubai introduces a calendar of unique wine dinners at the signature restaurant Vanitas

Palazzo Versace Dubai, the luxury lifestyle hotel located on the shores of the historic Dubai Creek, launches a new series of wine dinners at its signature Italian restaurant Vanitas. Vino che Passione series will feature twelve thematic dining experiences, each of them highlighting Italy’s best wines and delicacies. The guests will enjoy one dinner every month and, through these experiences, will discover a range of styles as they drink their way through each region – from the intense red wine of Nebbiolo to the light, dry and crisp white wine of Gavi.

Vino che Passione will debut on 30th January 2020 with a journey through one of Italy’s most acclaimed wine-growing regions – Piemonte.

This series of dinners will give guests the opportunity to learn about the history of the different wine houses and provide a rare insight into the production processes of some of Italy’s finest wines. The chefs at Vanitas have also created special four-course menus and each dish will be carefully paired with the tasting notes of the wines served on the evening. The guests will tease their taste buds with Cannolo Ricotta e Pistacchio, Guancia di Manzo, Gnocchi e Terra D’Alba, and end with the signature dessert of the evening – Bonet E Semifreddo Alle Nocciole.

“Vino che Passione was created to both entertain and educate. We will provide our guests with guided tasting notes of each wine and give them the opportunity to learn about the vineyards, all while enjoying a curated dinner specifically crafted with these wines in mind”, said Mansour Memarian, Director of Culinary and F&B at Palazzo Versace Dubai.

To reward the true wine lovers, Palazzo Versace Dubai has prepared exciting prizes for the guests who attended all the twelve experiences. The raffle draw at the end of the year will include prizes like weekend stays and spa experiences.

Vino che Passione will take place at Vanitas every month, starting January 30th. Located within the Palazzo Versace Dubai, the restaurant offers stunning views of Dubai Creek.

ABOUT VANITAS

Like in a traditional Italian palace, Vanitas restaurant at Palazzo Versace Dubai is typified with hand-made decoration on the walls featuring the so-called “Grottesche Italiane”. The grotesque is a traditional decoration used in the Renaissance age after the rooms of the Nerone’s Domus Aurea painted with the fanciful motif has been discovered.
On the bottom, wall stands a beautiful century landscape that reminds of a painting from Versace’s archive, while the furniture is typified by classy yet bold red and blue colours. The renowned dinner service ‘Medusa Blue’ by ‘Rosenthal meets Versace’ collection perfectly complements the environment.
